I am honoured to share that I, Heena, am currently serving as a Nursing Officer at AIIMS Jammu. Prior to this, I served as a Community Health Officer (CHO). I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shakuntla Memorial B.Sc. College of Nursing, Chamba. The knowledge, experience, and guidance I received there have shaped me both professionally and personally. I am deeply grateful to the institution that played a significant role in my journey and contributed to my achievements.

My nursing college experience of Shakuntla Memorial B.Sc. College of Nursing has been a journey of growth and learning. In college, I’ve had the opportunity to study and gain knowledge in nursing, which has helped me develop a strong foundation in the field. Apart from studies, I’ve also participated in extracurricular activities that have helped me develop new skills and build confidence.Clinical experiences have been a crucial part of my education, where I’ve gained hands-on experience in patient care and developed essential skills like empathy, communication, and teamwork. I am proud to share that I am currently serving as a Nursing Officer at AIIMS Jammu. I cleared the NORCET exam in 2022 and also qualified the Himachal Pradesh CHO exam. These achievements mark significant milestones in my professional journey, and I owe much of this success to the solid foundation laid during my time at Shakuntla Memorial B.Sc. College of Nursing, Chamba. My college experience went beyond academics—it was about discovering my purpose, developing strong clinical skills, and gaining the confidence to face challenges head-on. At first I was nervous with the course but with the faculty guidance I transitions smoothly into the course not only academic but I also embraced other life skills.
